Spandex displays Gerber Solara ion UV inkjet printer at Sign & Digital UK 2009

BRISTOL, UK, 2ND MARCH 2009 – Spandex, the one-stop supplier of integrated, start-to-finish solutions to the sign making and digital printing industries world wide, is set to wow visitors to Sign & Digital UK with an impressive product showcase that is designed to increase the service offering and extend application possibilities for sign and large format businesses.

The event will see Spandex exhibit key products from its hardware, materials and sign systems ranges. These will include the new PerfectApply cast and polymeric films for vehicle wrap, glazing enhancement, and other graphics applications.

Taking centre stage on Spandex’s stand (K22), will be Gerber’s latest UV inkjet printer, the Gerber Solara ion. The innovative Gerber Solara™ ion is a true flatbed, wide-format, UV inkjet printer that offers vivid, flexible, outdoor-durable graphics that are immediately usable. A key feature of the Solara ion is its advanced GerberCAT™ cationic inks and Cold Fire Cure™ technology.
