Spandex extends its sign and display portfolio with Kunstdünger products

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM– April 23rd 2009 – Spandex, the pioneering one-stop supplier of complete and innovative solutions to the digital printing and sign making industries worldwide, has extended its comprehensive sign systems and display offering to include the high-quality fixings, fastenings and display products from Italian manufacturer Kunstdünger.

Comprehensive new additions add creativity, versatility and style to sign and display projects

Spandex is set to offer six of Kunstdünger’s smart, Italian-designed product ranges, which include wall and ceiling fittings, as well as stylish suspended cable systems. Along with a high-quality creative design, each product range delivers versatile functionality, which together combine to provide an exceptionally individual look to finished signs and displays.

Spandex’s new Kunstdünger ranges comprise: Fisso wall mounted fixings and stand offs; Fisso ceiling and panel fixings; two Fly suspended cable systems; the Monsterframe banner tensioning system; the Pressto rigid panel display system; and the Bannerblock suspended banner display system.

Product Ranges

• Fisso Wall-Mounted Stand Off fasteners provide everything needed to mount panels to walls in a variety of finishes and sizes. The range is perfectly suited for applications that include panel mounted, directional and information signage; door signs; name plates; and multi-layer signs.

• Fisso Ceiling and Panel Fixings enable users to affix panels to ceilings in a choice of finishes and styles. The result is a system that offers superior design and functionality to information and directional signage; rigid panel graphic displays; retail advertising; and frame mounting.

Each Fisso range ensures that large projects with a number of size/finish requirements can achieve a unified look throughout the whole project.

• The Fly Suspended Cable System is ideal for retail window, poster and information displays; advertising; retail furniture; and directional signage. Customers benefit from a choice of two different product types:

o   Fly Mini is a compact and discreet cable support system.  Thanks to its unobtrusive nature, the Fly Mini system ensures the display itself is the focus highlight, and not the cable system. 

o   Fly Design cable system is an elegant design which adds to the overall look of the display.  Thanks to the stylish lines of the fly design range, the products can be used to enhance and transform a suspended cable display.

• Monsterframe is an effective and easy-to-use banner tensioning modular system.  A key feature of Monsterframe is its adjustable banner buttons which enable simple, tool-less, one-person banner attachment and change-over without dismantling the whole structure. Monsterframe is particularly suited for projects that include large building advertising, indoor and outdoor promotional displays, and event advertising.

• Pressto is a rigid panel display system which ensures simple yet highly effective creation of instant displays for printed boards and panels. The system has been engineered specifically for promotional displays, directional signage, event advertising, temporary wall partitioning and simple barriers.

• Bannerblock is made from two extrusions that clamp together to provide a secure, tamper-proof method of hanging posters or digitally printed banners. The versatile system offers eye-catching effects to applications that include promotional and retail advertising, window displays and information systems.

Bannerblock allows users to attach a special side fixing which enables integration with suspended cable systems such as the Fly ranges. This feature permits the creation of both modular compositions and single print displays.
