This course is designed for people who have not used Gerber Omega™ or those that have been self-taught. It covers all design elements of the software, whether importing raster images or designing new vector images.

After attending this course you will be able to design and edit vectors to a high printable standard. The course covers:

• Text
• Construction and line
• Selection
• Detail editing tools – smooth path, sharpen points and corners
• Importing – embed images, better handling
• Layers – double sided printing and organisation
• Shape menu
• Layout
• Dimensions
• Clipping paths
• Setting up the work area and a print and cut job
• GSP plot - output by layers, select colours, 123 job settings, 600x300 dpi etc
• Wireframe legend
• Tools menu – repeats, auto numbering, outline, warp, distortion, shadow, effects
• Posterising images
• Fit text to path
• Manipulating images
• Tools > Options menu
