Reflective vinyls are commonly used for signage and markings such as traffic control, vehicle marking and safety applications. They provide levels of reflectivity and durability that adhere to strict performance standards.
Fluorescent and photo-luminescent materials are used to afford high visibility in applications such as safety, security and emergency signal signage.
Pre-cut Chapter 8 Chevron Kits
For all vehicle types using Avery material
Chevrons kits are designed to increase the visibility of cars, vans and specialist vehicles and are required by law when stopping on dual carriageways and motorways. The red reflective material is designed to give the vehicle maximum visibility at night whilst the fluorescent yellow is highly conspicuous under all weather conditions.
Spandex now offers ready-made Chevron kits for all vehicles.

Avery Material
All kits comprise of Avery 900, high grade, 110 micron, yellow fluorescent, cast film with either Avery T1500 engineering grade (Type 1), beaded red retro-reflective or for extra visibility the Avery HV1302 metallised prismatic, red, retro reflective film.
Both these films are omni- directional. The Avery material used does not require edge sealing removing the possibility of failure due to water and dirt penetration.
Half Rear Kits
Half rear kits provide a partial cover of either the boot of a car or the bottom of the van doors and may also include the rear uprights if required.
Full Rear Kits
Full rear kits cover the entire back of the vehicle with no cut out for windows. Kits are also supplied with reflective door lozenges for fitting on the front door internal edges.
Full Glazed Kits
Fully glazed kits cover the entire back of the vehicle with a cut out for either the rear glazing panel or to allow for corporate branding placement on both large cars and vans.
