The Summa S-Class is a high performance range of quality-made plotters that allow you to cut with precision without compromising speed.
They unite power and precision with an affordable and efficient drag-knife cutting head or a state-of-the-art True Tangential cutting™ head.
Two different cutting technologies
The Summa S-Class series models are available in two different configurations.
The Summa S-Class D models are equipped with the drag knife cutting technology.
The Summa S-Class T models are equipped with the tangential cutting technology.

Integrated print-to-cut solution
The embedded optical alignment system OPOS™ X offers unparalleled accuracy and ease-of-use in any print-to-cut workflow. OPOS™ X fully compensates for material alignment error, skew, scaling and various modes of image distortion, including shrinkage. Repeatedly cutting the same contour job, cutting different jobs one after the other or cutting multiple copies printed on single sheets becomes an easy routine.
The enhanced workflow features enable multiple jobs to be handled with minimal user intervention.
Unparalleled ease-of-use
The Summa S-Class series offers innovative and thought-out new features that maximize usability and productivity.
The intuitive LCD Touch Panel puts every advanced feature at the fingertips, the Auto Sheet-off function automatically trims the job at the end and the Dual Cutting Strip makes going from cut to pounce as easy as swapping a blade for a pin.
The OverCut™ option on its turn saves a lot of time by making weeding a lot easier.
A multitude of applications
Next to traditional vinyl cutting, print-to-cut or cutting flex and flock, the Summa S-Class series cut a wide range of sandblast foils with the optional sandblast knife for the drag-knife models.
Cut through thicker materials with greatest ease and precision by using the motor-controlled blade rotation of the TrueTangential™ cutting head.
FlexCut™ on its turn is the ideal tool for die or sticker cutting, as it cuts completely through the material and its backing, leaving small material bridges that allow the material to stay together.
Exceptional Precision
Employing powerful servomotors and the exclusive MicroSprocket™ drive assures super-accurate and long-length tracking, making the Summa S-Class series the top of its class.
The enhanced media feed system can handle an enormous variety of thin or thick materials with amazing tracking accuracy at top speeds thanks to the selectable pinch-roller pressure and new media support rollers for roll-fed materials.
Maximised productivity with Media Rack & Roll-up systems
The optional space-saving Media Rack and servo-powered Roll-up systems consolidate your cutter’s productivity and ease-of-use.
The Roll-up system enables you to cut complete rolls unattended and uninterrupted, which means, that after a job is finished, the system will roll up the artwork and prepare the machine for the next one.
The Media Rack can hold up to 3 extra rolls of vinyl enabling the different rolls to be quickly and easily changed.
For even higher precision on long runs, the new panelling feature splits up lengthy jobs into shorter consecutive jobs.
The Media Rack and Roll-Up systems integrate with the cutter’s stand, and can be added to any Summa S140 or S160 D/T model.
