Terms & Conditions

1. Information on how to enter the competition and details of prizes can be found on the promotional flyer.

2. This promotion is conducted by Gerber Scientific International Australia Pty Ltd, trading as Spandex Australia, 9 Hamley Road, Mt Kuring-Gai, NSW, 2080. Spandex ABN: 5508 8162 038.

3. The Spandex and Avery Graphics Choose Your Mimaki Competition is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and over; except the directors, management and employees of the promoter, its related companies suppliers, agencies, associated with the competition, and the immediate families of the aforementioned persons.

4. Entries will be automatically allocated every time a purchase of $300.00 (excluding GST) or more in value is made, through Spandex Asia Pacific (Distributor); of any Avery Graphics branded products. Purchases between $300.00 and $999.99 (excluding GST) will receive one (1) entry; purchases of $1000.00  (excluding GST) and over will receive three (3) entries. Product is to be purchased for no more than the Distributors published retail price. Entries will be allocated to customer even if product is not available and back order is required.

5. Competition opens 8.00am Wednesday 1st September 2010 and closes 5pm Tuesday 30th November 2010. Purchases of Avery Graphics branded products over the value of $300.00 (excluding GST) are eligible during this period.

6. The final prize will be drawn at 12:00 pm Friday 10th December 2010 at Spandex Asia Pacific Head Office, 9 Hamley Road, Mt Kuring-Gai, NSW, 2080. Draw will be supervised by independent scrutineer. Finalist will be notified by telephone by close of business Monday 13th December  2010, with a written confirmation by post. 

7. The finalist will receive a Mimaki printer to the value of $28,000 (excluding GST) RRP (consumables not included); or a voucher to the value of $28,000 (excluding GST) towards a Mimaki printer of their choice.

8. Installation & Training for the Mimaki product of choice is included for the winner within a 60 kilometer radius of any Spandex Asia Pacific branch. Installation & Training costs will apply if outside of the 60 kilometer radius.

9. There are two runner-up prizes that will be drawn at 12:00pm pm Friday 10th December 2010 at Spandex Asia Pacific Head Office, 9 Hamley Road, Mt Kuring-Gai, NSW, 2080. Draw will be supervised by independent scrutineer. The runner-up prize winners will be notified by telephone by close of business Monday 13th December  2010, with a written confirmation by post.

10. The two runner-up prize winners will each receive an Avery Graphics materials pack valued at $2,500 to the Distributors retail price.

11. The total prize pool is valued at $33,000 (excluding GST).

12. Winners will be notified by telephone, in writing and details of first and second prize winners will be published in The Australian newspaper on Wednesday 15th December.

13. In the event that a prize is not claimed by the original winner or the original winner cannot be contacted by Thursday 10th March 2011 a redraw will take place on Friday 11th March 2011. The redraw will take place at 12.00pm Friday 11th March 2011at Spandex Asia Pacific, 9 Hamley Road, Mt Kuring-Gai, NSW 2080, by an independent scrutineer. The redraw winners will be notified by telephone, in writing and details of first and second prize winners will be published in The Australian newspaper on Wednesday 16th March 2011.

14. The first and runner-up prize winners will be included in promotional material following the final results. Purchase and entry information will remain confidential.

15. The promoter’s decision is final. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.

16. The promoter, its contractors, employees and agents, will not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential) as a result of, arising out of or in any way connected with the competition and /or its prizes, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law. Tax implications may arise from the receipt or use of a prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.
