UV Cationic Inkjet Technology
Simply put, GerberCAT™ inks provide the color and Gerber’s patent-pending Cold Fire Cure™ technology is what successfully adheres that color to a range of materials far beyond that of conventional inkjet printers. Together this system provides features in inkjet curing that are nothing less than revolutionary and far superior to any other ultraviolet curing process available.UV Cationic Inkjet Printer Models:
UV Curable Inkjet
Print on almost any flexible and rigid material.
UV inks dry instantly when exposed to UV light without the use of extra heating systems. Due to this low temperature curing method, these inks enable you to print on a vast range of heat sensitive materials. They are very scratch resistant, bond extremely well with coated or uncoated substrates and have an excellent longevity. A major benefit is that UV inks don’t produce VOC’s so no special ventilation is required.
Solvent Based Inkjet
Volume production of durable indoor and outdoor prints.
From the moment they were introduced to the market, solvent inks have been very popular due to their excellent durability, low cost and bonding capabilities to uncoated substrates. These inks are a preferred solution to applications that need to withstand extreme outdoor conditions and are used to produce, fleet graphics, billboards and other outdoor signage. When working with solvent inks make sure that your workspace has proper ventilation to keep you safe from hazardous VOC’s (volatile organic compounds).
Solvent Inkjet Printer Models:
Eco-Solvent Inkjet
Environment friendly inks for durable indoor and outdoor applications.The non-aggressive Eco Solvent inks do not spread any harmful VOCs in the working environment. As such, there is no need for expensive air purification, which makes the Eco Solvent the ideal candidates for office. In addition, these milder solvent inks extend the lifespan of print heads and require less extensive cleaning and maintenance procedures. They are suitable for in and outdoor applications.
Eco-Solvent Inkjet Printer Models:
Thermal Transfer
Print over 3500 spot colours, true metallics and simulate solid Pantone® colours.Thermal transfer printers transfer pigment from a carrier to the respective media using heat. It’s a dry process that produces UV, scratch and water resistant prints that are ready to use instantly. This is a very environmentally friendly technology that produces no harmful VOC’s and requires no special ventilation.
