Mimaki JV5-320S
Propelled by a unique staggered arrangement of four latest-generation ‘wide’ print heads, totaling 5760 nozzles
The Mimaki JV5 leaps out to graphic and sign professionals looking to produce industrial volumes of durable outdoor signage, fleet and window graphics, publicity banners, stage and corporate graphics, backlit box signage and building or construction announcements.Even at the highest resolution of 1440 dpi, the JV5 reaches print speeds of up to 24 m²/h, which makes it the preferred candidate for volume production of photorealistic prints and other quality indoor graphics.
3-way intelligent heating
The 3-way intelligent heating system allows optimal temperature settings for each media and ink combination. This provides consistent print quality with improved ink fixation and faster drying times on a broad variety of inexpensive uncoated and coated materials. The optional external infrared dryer enables volume production on an even wider range of low-cost materials.
Head height adjustment
The thickness of the media is automatically detected and the height of the head is automatically adjusted to get the designated head gap. When changing the thickness of the media, the head gap is automatically adjusted. This enables the user to always obtain the best printing results.
Automatic nozzle drop out detection
This function monitors the ink-discharging state from the printing head and quickly detects ink clogging, reducing the overall waste of media and ink.
Media feeding compensation
The media is transported stably without being affected by the weight of the media roll. This reduces the banding caused by irregular feeding of the media which achieves high quality printing results.
