The CJV30 Series prints with fast drying EcoHS1 ink. EcoHS1 ink: Improved Gloss level. Outgassing reduced significantly (Improved turnaround times from print to apply). No toxic solvent (NMP, Cyclohexanone) is contained in EcoHS1 ink.
Printability of the ink is extremely impressive eg: finish and quality. Significant improvement with colour gamut.
Automatic Media Clamp function
The number of pinch rollers and their clamp pressures can be set from the RIP software and the pinch roller pressure is automatically changed to suit the thickness of the media. By raising the pinch rollers in the middle at the time of cutting, peeling-off media after cutting is eliminated.
This full automatic function enables unattended operation without manual intervention from the start of printing to the end of cutting. CJV30 automatically adjusts to ensure accurate media feed. This results in high quality finishing of both, print and cut.
High speed for fast delivery
CJV30 Series is capable of printing up to 17.3 m2/h (540 x 720 dpi, 4 colours). In standard mode CJV30 can print 11.7 m2/h (540 × 1080 dpi, 4 colours).
The symmetrical ink cartridge arrangement enables reliable and detailed high quality image generation even with bidirectional printing.
High detailed vivid images
CJV30 can print up to 1440 dpi with three different dot sizes. Smooth and beautiful images are produced without graining, even when printing in four colour mode.
Accurate contour cutting
For accurate contour cutting of printed images the continuous crop mark detection recognizes registration marks that are printed on the media. Even with a laminated print, contour cutting is performed with great accuracy.
Uninterrupted Ink Supply System
When an ink cartridge runs out, another cartridge automatically begins to supply ink. Ink cartridges can be replaced during printing and overnight continuous printing is possible. The UISS can be used in 4 colour mode and enables a continuous unattended operation.
Mimaki’s Half-Cut function
This function creates a series of half- and die cuts leaving a few connection points that prevent the image from falling.
White Ink Overlay Print
Splitting the printer head to front and rear, and overlaying printing of color and white enables accurate printing for long periods of time. It's ideal for use in applications which require both transparent and opaque printing.
